    1. How do I obtain my prescription?

    You can have your eyes tested from your optician. The optician will provide you with a thorough eye examination, and will provide you with a copy of your Rx for your own records. You are not under any obligation to purchase your glasses from your optician - so do not feel pressured into doing so!

    2. Why are prices so low in your site?

    Our prices are significantly lower than what you would find in high street stores. We~re an online shop, so we can take advantage of lower costs of operation - which means no renting expensive prime location property, or paying for the upkeep of numerous items of expensive eye testing machinery.

    3. What payment methods are available?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards which are kept secure with the strongest level of encryption commercially available. We don~t store your card details on our server: all our payments are processed by Stripe, the world~s leading secure payment processor. This makes all transactions 100% safe and secure.

    4. How long will it take me to receive my Rx glasses?

    We aim to dispatch glasses within 5 working days of receiving the order. However, kindly note that it may take up to 28 working days for some prescriptions.

    5. What~s the cost of postage & packaging?

    The cost of postage and packaging within India is 500 Rs each order. Note that, you can choose a delivery address that is different from the billing address. So, for example, your billing address can be your home address, but you can choose to have the glasses delivered to your office.

    6. Do I need to send you a copy of my Rx?

    No - as long as you have a current up-to-date prescription (i.e. not more than two years old when ordering).

    8. I can~t find an ~addition~ reading on my prescription - what do I do?

    If your glasses are for distance only, you don~t need to worry about the addition. The addition value is only required if the glasses are going to be used for reading or other close-distance work. Sometimes opticians use the word ~ADD~ or ~Near~ instead of ~addition~. They may also write it just once, but since it normally applies to both eyes, and is almost always the same value for both, you would need to enter the same value in both places in the form. (e.g. ~Add~ +2.50 - should be entered for both L and R eyes).

    9. Do you sell prescription glasses for children?

    No. We do not sell prescription glasses for children.

    10. Are my payment details kept secure?

    Yes, all your payment details are entered in a secure internet site that our website links with, and is managed by Stripe. Optically does not record customer payment details. All this information is held in a secure server managed by Stripe. Our shop uses 128 bit SSL, the strongest level of encryption commercially available; all transactions are guaranteed to be 100% safe and secure.

    11. What sort of frames will suit me?

    The shape of your face is the most important factor when choosing any frames. The list below should give a broad idea as to frame designs:

    Round Faces - Rectangular frames would be most suitable

    Oval Faces - Most frames suit this face shape; size is the most important point when deciding here

    Triangular Faces - Rectangular frames would be most suitable

    Square Faces - Oval or round frames would be most suitable

    Contact Lenses In case the box in which the item has received has visible damage, you are requested to deny the shipment and contact Customer Care. Original, unopened packaging must be required for exchange. In case the box in which the item has received has visible damage, you are requested to deny the shipment and contact Customer Care. Original, unopened packaging must be required for exchange.
    For Frame /Goggle with lens (Prescription Glass ) In case the box in which the item has received has visible damage, you are requested to deny the shipment and contact Customer Care. Original packaging must be required for exchange. If all the specifications of frame/Goggle and lens are correct from our side, then also if you want to exchange the product then the cost of lens will be deducted as per invoice and only frame charges will be refunded, since these are customized lenses ( courier charges will be bearable by customer). In case the box in which the item has received has visible damage, you are requested to deny the shipment and contact Customer Care. Original packaging must be required for exchange. If all the specifications of frame/Goggle and lens are correct from our side, then also if you want to return the product then the cost of lens will be deducted as per invoice and only frame charges will be refunded, since these are customized lenses ( courier charges will be bearable by customer).

    The Site had reserved the right to cancel any order. The reason for cancellation can be any of the followings :

    For cancellation of product of any order, customer must have to get login first, select the product of specific order no. and click on the cancel button with in 24 hours from the order time.. After cancellation of order, customer will get refund (if applicable) of entire amount or any deduction will be refunded via original method of payment within 7 working days

    If customer claims for damaged product, then at this condition, customer should have to show the proof as because after receiving the product from our logistic partner we are not responsible to consider product as damage. If you receive the damage product then customer should have raise ticket/email/call within 2 hours from the product delivery time. then only your claim will be considerable.

    1. In case the order request is not acceptable to the company, Unavailability of the product.

    2. Inaccurate/incomplete product/prescription information .

    3. Suspecticious reasons of any fraud.

    Refund will be applicable only if :

    Customer paid twice for one transaction, the one transaction amount will be refunded via same source within 7 working days.

    Once the cancellation/Return done, the entire amount or any deduction will be refunded via original method of payment within 7 working days.

    Product must receive undamaged, unborn, and brand new conditions.

    All accessories of the product is compulsory for refund.

    Company has right to deduct the amount if returned product got damaged or used or born condition.

    Refund is only applicable if product is canceled or return request made by customer within 2 days of product delivery date. After 3 days of product delivery company will not be responsible for any types of refund.

    We do not provide any warranty on breakage of Frame, Sunglasses or Lens, also fading of frame/Goggle colors is not liable for refunds. Refund is not possible in such case.

    The Online Transaction charge will not be refunded in any of the case for Order Cancellation. Free returns, 365- Day returns and refunds

    You have 365 days to return your order. That is a whole year to decide if its right for you. All we ask is that any products are returned in the same condition we send them out to you. The product must be unworn, with any tags still in place and in their original case and box.

    Any goods bought from the ~Sale~ area of the website are not included in the 365- Day Returns offer. But you still have 30 days to return those.

    Terms of Shipping in case of Non-Serviceable Pin Codes

    1) Prepaid orders with non-serviceable pin codes are sent through Speed Post.

    2. koolspecs.com will not be liable for any delays in delivery.

    3) Normal delivery & refund schedule will not be applicable for goods sent through Speed Post.

    4) In case of prepaid orders with non-serviceable pin codes, returns would have to be initiated by the customers themselves.

    *For Rural pin codes served by India Post, the delivery may take up to 30 days.

    BY VOLUNTARILY PROVIDING US WITH INFORMATION, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO OUR USE OF IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS POLICY.

    1. Applicability

This authorization shall be licit for the mentioned purposes irrespective of whether You are registered with the NDNC (National Do Not Call) registry.

    11. Indemnity

    You agree to indemnify and hold KoolSpecs harmless from:(i) any actions, claims, demands, suits, damages, losses, penalties, interest and other charges and expenses (including legal fees and other dispute resolution costs) made by any third party due to or arising out of any violation of the terms of this Policy; (ii)any acts or deeds, including for any non-compliance or violation, of any applicable law, rules, regulations on Your part; or (iii) for fraud committed by You.

     

    12. Severability

    We have made every effort to ensure that this Policy adheres with the applicable laws. The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of this Policy shall not prejudice or affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of this Policy.

     

    13. No Waiver

    The rights and remedies available under this Policy may be exercised as often as necessary and are cumulative and not exclusive of rights or remedies provided by law. It may be waived only in writing. Delay in exercising or non-exercise of any such right or remedy does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy, or any other right or remedy.

     

    14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    14.1 This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India and subject to the provisions of arbitration set out herein, the courts at Prayagraj , Uttar Pradesh  India shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any Disputes (defined below) arising out of or in connection with this Policy subject to the provisions.

     14.2 Any action, dispute or difference arising under or relating to this Policy (“Dispute”) shall at the first instance be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties hereto, which negotiations shall begin promptly, within 15 (fifteen) days after a party has delivered to the other party a written request for such consultation. If the parties are unable to resolve the Dispute in question within 15 (fifteen) days of the commencement of negotiations, such Dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time and rules prescribed thereunder. When any Dispute is under arbitration, except for the matters under dispute, KoolSpecs and You shall continue to exercise the remaining respective rights and fulfil the remaining respective obligations as provided in the Policy or terms of use.

     14.3 The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator jointly appointed by KoolSpecs and You. If parties fail to appoint an arbitrator within 30 (thirty) days after service of the notice of arbitration, such arbitrator shall be appointed in accordance with provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue of arbitration shall be Prayagraj , Uttar Pradesh , India.

     14.4 The language of the arbitration proceedings and of all written decisions and correspondence relating to the arbitration shall be English.

     

    15. Changes to the Policy

    We may update this Policy to reflect changes to Our practices. If We make any material changes, We will notify You by e-mail (sent to the e-mail address specified in Your account) or by means of a notice on this Platform upon the change becoming effective. We encourage You to periodically review this page for the latest information on Our privacy practices. By using this Platform and Our services, You consent to the terms of this Policy and to Our use and management of User Information for the purposes and in the manner herein provided.
